Our floors are beautiful! We ordered the Plantation-style luxury vinyl floors for the basement and the color, and style are just what the area needed. We were indecisive on what to purchase and Ken was able to help us decide on the least expensive option that was waterproof, and durable. Floorgem and Ken did a wonderful job on our wood floors. Ken was responsive to all questions and his teams showed up on time, and worked hard. The fee was reasonable. My only "criticism," is that the second team which moved our furniture back in place, had not been told there was an upright piano to move. However, they managed to do it well.

It was amazing! Let me say right off the bat that Ken from Floor Gem was great. We had some water damage and needed to get the floor replaced before Thanksgiving. We had a little mix-up on the installation date and time but Ken was fantastic and with incredibly short notice he was able to arrange a team to perform our install. They did an amazing job! We couldn't be happier!

Our experience with FloorGem was excellent. We initially wanted to polish an old basement concrete floor. Ken advised us against that decision for a variety of reasons that were never mentioned by other contractors. He also showed us pictures of concrete polishing projects that turned out poorly. Ken then recommended an epoxy paint and sealer that was cheaper than polishing. It turned out fantastic.

FloorGem did a light sanding, 2 re-coats of polyurethane, and installed quarter-round for me. There had previously been carpet on these floors and it likely hadn't ever been refinished. The floor was in decent shape, but definitely needed some polyurethane. The job looks great. The quarter-round was installed well and I'm really enjoying my floors.

FloorGem gave me a great estimate to do a two story stair and hallway in oak.I had used another installer previously at another house but FloorGem's estimate was significantly lower than the other company. They just finished the work this week and everything came out gorgeous. The work is meticulous and as close to perfect as you can get. I am very happy with our bamboo flooring installed by FloorGem. They look beautiful and feel good underfoot. We had a fairly tight schedule to get the floors in before we moved into the house and FloorGem easily accommodated us. Finally, I felt that the price for the work was fair.

Ken and his team did great work installing new hardwood to match our existing oak flooring. Really, a seamless floor addition. They finish the work in one day instead of two, working 12 hard hours.
