Intended for light to moderate soil, dry carpet cleaning uses low moisture cleaning solution and buffer, while steam carpet cleaning, a process intended for light to heavy soil, uses a mild cleaning solution and hot water sprayed deep into the carpet and then extracted along with the soil. Shampooing leads to deep-down cleaning, while extraction reaches into carpet fibers to remove soils and stains. During the Spin Bonnet method, FloorGem technicians spray buff specific areas of the carpet.
